One-eyed Jack was appointed as the PR agency to launch one of South Africa’s newest music streaming apps, JOOX, by creating a strategic always-on communication platform that would not only lead to mass awareness but also drive downloads. Our focus has been on: Education: teaching the general public about what music streaming is about along with debunking the myths around the business of streaming. Localisation: place JOOX in the minds of South Africans as a local music streaming app that supports the local music industry and its artists. Relevance: help JOOX get involved with and sponsor local music events and industry workshops that speak to the brand being behind local music and its artists.
