RIDING WITH SUGAR FILM WRITTEN AND DIRECTED BY SUNU

Written and directed by Cannes Lions Gold winner Sunu Gonera, comes a story of triumph and hope in the face of adversity. Produced by iconic film stalwart Helena Spring (Sarafina, Cry the Beloved Country)  the uniquely African story of young Joshua is set to take the box office by storm. Filming wrapped in Cape Town in December 2018 and stars Hakeem Kae-Kazeem and Charles Mnene in the leads.  With a distinctive visual approach to his work, Sunu has made a name for himself as the visionary Afrocentric/Afrofutristic master behind the Absolut One Source Live video starring Kuli Chana and has recently returned from shooting episodes of the hit series Madam Secretary in L.A.
