DescriptionAnyone drive a new Volkswagen Polo Vivo? It was the biggest-selling passenger vehicle in SA last year. In part due to the VW #VIVOnation Festival, a concept that we created as part of a five-way pitch to launch the new vehicle in March 2018. It was so successful that Volkswagen asked us to do it again in 2019. Oh, and VW #VIVOnation was also a Loeries finalist. The venue: a shipping container yard in Johannesburg. Hundreds of containers were repurposed to create a grungy, edgy space, which was brought to life with video mapping, projections, car displays, and world-class technology. 2019's line-up included: Shane Eagle, DJ Kent, Simmy, Rouge, Sjava, Sho Madjozi, Busiswa, Mlindo The Vocalist and DJ Zan-D take to the stage. Headliner AKA nailed his performance, Tweeting “VIVOnation set up looks insane” after his first set on Saturday night.
