VW COMMUNITY TRUST GALA DINNER AND LITERACY CONFERENCE 2019

The Volkswagen Community Trust sought an events company to conceptualise and produce events to celebrate the work of the VWCT and its achievements over the last 30 years, to recognise those that have contributed to the work of the VWCT, to acknowledge the VWSA and VWAG investments in SA through development initiatives they have funded and to showcase some of the legacy projects including the VW Literacy Programme. One-eyed Jack was awarded the opportunity as the event management company to produce the 30^th anniversary gala dinner event followed by the 4^th Annual Literacy conference, a children’s workshops and a parents workshop. The Literacy conference saw speakers and delegates from all education sectors including Basic education ministers, professors from Rhodes University, UCT as well as UKZN. All 100 attending children received books to take home with them to continue the Trust’s work of promoting literacy to all communities.
