One-eyed Jack partnered with BYD South Africa to launch two very different Electric Vehicles, the Dolphin Surf and the Sealion 5, each with its own personality, audience, and place in BYD’s growing portfolio.
For the Sealion 5, South Africa was the first market to see it, and we delivered a premium, sophisticated launch. Hands-on product zones showcased technology, comfort, and modern design, while cinematic lighting, high-end staging, and immersive storytelling positioned the vehicle as a smart-living, modern luxury EV. Media and influencers enjoyed curated test drives and intimate brand interviews, making the experience tailored and unforgettable.
The Dolphin Surf celebrated a younger, urban crowd. Built around the MOVE concept, the launch reflected city life, from morning runs and yoga sessions to coffee stops and music-filled moments. Media, influencers, and consumers explored EVs in a fun, relaxed environment that made innovation feel effortless.
Across both launches, One-eyed Jack led concept, creative direction, PR, branding, and execution, positioning BYD as a lifestyle-driven, innovative brand that speaks authentically to diverse audiences.
